About the Doctors

Brad D. Bruchmiller D.D.S.Brad D. Bruchmiller D.D.S.

Dr. Bruchmiller has been in the exclusive practice of orthodontics for over 20 years in San Antonio and Schertz. After graduating from Churchill High School with honors, Dr. Bruchmiller attended Texas A&M University and was in the Corps of Cadets where he received several awards for leadership and academics. He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston for doctorate and post-doctorate work in orthodontics. His Masters Thesis was titled “Expansion of the Mandibular Arch with the Cetlin Lip Bumper.”

Dr. Bruchmiller served his country as a Major in the Army Reserves as a dentist in a Dental Field Company within the U.S. and overseas.

Dr. Bruchmiller is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques in orthodontics by participating in such groups as the Charles H. Tweed Orthodontic Study Group of Texas, Alamo Orthodontic Study Group, San Antonio District Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Bruchmiller has been married to his wonderful wife, Denise, for 27 years and has three lovely children: Kyle, Connor and Kate. He is actively involved in various community services such as Habitat for Humanity and has served on the Board of San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic, which supports underprivileged adults and the homeless. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and fishing.


Devin S. Cochran D.D.S., M.S.Devin S. Cochran D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Cochran has been practicing dentistry and orthodontics for over 22 years. He graduated from Churchill High School in 1977 and attended the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1981. From there he attended the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio, where he was elected student body president in 1984.

After graduation he practiced general dentistry in San Antonio for seven years prior to his return for a residency in orthodontics at the University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1992. In addition to receiving a certificate in orthodontics, Dr. Cochran received a Masters of Science degree as a result of his work in the field of biomaterials. His Masters Thesis, “Tensile Bond Strength to Porcelain Using All Purpose Bonding Agents” was submitted and published in the American Journal of Orthodontics in 1998.

Staying on the leading edge of orthodontics has always been a high priority for Dr. Cochran and is evident by his participation in several study clubs such as the Alamo Orthodontic Study Club and the University of Texas Alumni Association. He is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the San Antonio District Dental Society.

In addition to his participation in dental organizations, Dr. Cochran is involved in many local community organizations. He, along with his wife Eileen, has been a volunteer for United Way of San Antonio, mentored through the Victoria Courts Adopt-a-Child Program and chaired various committees for Cattle Barons and the American Heart Association. Dr. Cochran lives in San Antonio with his wife, Eileen, and three sons: Cullen, Ian and Jack. He enjoys golfing and skiing in his spare time.


Amy B. Jackson D.D.S., M.S.Amy B. Jackson D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Amy B. Jackson is a Board Certified Orthodontist that has been actively treating patients for seven years.

Dr. Jackson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baylor University, where she was involved in such organizations as Big Brother Big Sister, Step'in Out community clean up and the Baylor service league.  She also supported the Baylor athletic department for four years as a yell leader.

Dr. Jackson began her dental career in Houston where she attended The University of Texas Health Science Center.  While at Houston she was awarded the following prestigious honors:  a Summer Research Fellowship from the AADR and the Barnard G. Sarnat Award in Craniofacial Biology from the IADR.  Along with her academic accolades she volunteered her time on mission trips to Nicaragua where she worked with less fortunate families providing pro bona dental care.  Dr. Jackson was later recognized by the UT Health Science Center with the Dental Public Health Award for community service.   

Dr. Jackson continued her pursuit of excellence in specialty training for Orthodontics at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.  While in resident training, she completed a master’s degree through the periodontal department and was awarded the AAED’s research grant for her work with mid-palatal implants. Dr. Jackson also published an article in the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry titled A Comparison of Stability Between Delayed versus Immediately Loaded Orthodontic Palatal Implants. 

Recognized by her colleagues as an expert in her field, she spends time doing school talks in the surrounding San Antonio area and heads an annual event for Head Start classrooms where she teaches hygiene to children at an early age.  Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with her husband of eight years and her young daughter Kate.
